My Trooper

There are no words to describe how great Liam did today. He was such a little trooper! We had our appointment at the orthopedic dr. this afternoon and they said he will need to be casted in a hard cast for 2 weeks. They did say that if he attempted to walk on it- its okay. I have a feeling that by the end of the 2 weeks-- he will have it figured out. For today... he has not made an attempt. Prior to getting casted he was sitting around with out the splint or wrap on and he seemed to be trying to put some pressure on it (while standing on my lap), but we didn't attempt to put him on the ground. Based on the fact that there was bruising and still some swelling they thought casting would be best.

He wears the cast like a champ! 

Being such a trooper and brave boy is exhausting! 

Despite a good morning nap he crashed on the way home!
