It certainly has been tricks and treats in CT over the past few days! On Saturday, CT was hit with a record breaking Nor'easter that dropped up to 12 inches of snow over parts of the state. Yes, you read that correctly. On October 29th some parts of CT got up to 12 inches of snow. As you can imagine, while we did have some time to prepare, the power lines and trees didn't get the memo. Much of state is still without power. Sucks. We lucked out (again) and weren't really affected. We had less than an inch accumulate. My parents and sister on the other hand... not so good. Both are still with out power. So the snow storm was the "trick" and having them visit and stay with us was the "treat." :)
Oh... and Halloween... fun trick or treat again! We had a great time going out trick or treating for the first time with Liam last night. Temps were cold so we only stayed out for about 30 minutes, but it was still fun to get out there and bring him door to door. He even said "trick or treat" on cue! Love this boy!
Not our Halloween bucket- he insisted on holding our neighbor Chase's bucket.
Surprisingly he knew exactly what to do!
He didnt follow the "one piece" rule...
neither did most of the kids that came to our door.

He was happy to bring Skittles over to our neighbors. So generous!
Cant wait for next year!
